Would you like to contribute to improving the quality of life of people with hearing loss?
At Oticon/ITSA Medical, we develop, produce, and market bone-anchored hearing systems. At our site in Vallauris (Sophia Antipolis), in the south of France, we specialize in the production of active implantable Class III medical devices, and we now manage the worldwide distribution of the company's full product portfolio. The site also hosts an R&D team and the French sales organization.
As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are looking for a Quality Operations Specialist to support operational quality activities and supplier quality management during a period of business growth and transformation.
The role will contribute to both day-to-day quality operations and upcoming sourcing and production initiatives.
Main Tasks:
- Support quality activities related to production, distribution, logistics, and quality control.
- Coordinate non-conformities, CAPAs, change controls, investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage supplier qualification, monitoring, audits, and supplier-related quality issues.
- Support product and component qualification activities, as well as the maintenance of the qualified state of cleanroom facilities and associated suppliers/services.
- Contribute to supplier onboarding and the implementation of quality requirements for sourcing and production projects.
- Monitor quality KPIs and support quality performance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, product quality, and operational excellence.
Le profil recherché
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Operations, or Supplier Quality.
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in French and English.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in medical devices or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, MDR, MDSAP, or GMP.
- Experience conducting supplier audits.
