What they need
Context
The DigitalAssetClear business unit of a leading financial services company is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to contribute to its risk platform. The role focuses on developing new business requirements, evolving the technical platform, and migrating to strategic infrastructure.
Missions
- Hands-on development using Java 21+
- Collaborate with stakeholders on business requirements analysis and propose solution designs
Tools & Environment
- Server-side Java development for fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Relational databases: Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
- Source code management with Git and task association in JIRA
- Java development toolsets including Maven and IntelliJ
- CI/CD tools such as GitLab
- Experience delivering Front Office and/or Risk solutions
- Nice to have: experience with AWS services, Terraform, Docker, and AI agents like Claude Code or similar

- Position located in Paris (Hybrid)

Profile wanted
- Enthusiastic & energized self-starter able to take the initiative and get things done
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to influence delivery from inception through to production
- Strong server-side Java development skills including development of fault tolerant distributed systems
- Experience with relational databases Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
- Strong up-to-date knowledge of modern software development practices with practical application in a regulated financial institution
- Good knowledge of managing source code effectively with Git and associating development with tasks defined in JIRA
- Strong familiarity with Java development toolsets including Maven and IntelliJ
- Experienced with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab
- Experience in delivering Front Office and/or Risk solutions
- Holds a degree in a Computer Science related discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of financial services experience and 10 years of overall software development experience
