Workplace recherche un(e) conseiller/conseillère juridique en conformité pour un de ses clients.
Basé au Luxembourg, vous contribuez à garantir la solidité et la crédibilité du programme international de conformité du groupe.
En lien direct avec le Head of Compliance et les équipes métiers, vous intervenez sur des sujets sensibles et variés où rigueur, conseil et pédagogie se conjuguent au quotidien.
Vos principales responsabilités comprennent :
- Conseiller les équipes sur les questions de conformité et de protection des données
- Développer et actualiser les politiques et procédures internes
- Former et sensibiliser les collaborateurs aux enjeux de conformité
- Participer aux initiatives internationales du groupe en matière de conformité et ESG
- Soutenir les projets spéciaux et audits pilotés par la direction de la conformité

Workplace is searching for a Legal Counsel Compliance for one of its clients.
You will be providing legal and organizational support to the Head of Compliance and take important responsibilities for the development, implementation, and improvement of the company we are searching employees for.
Your role will be supporting knowledge development, giving legal advice of compliance questions within the organization, support contract negotiations on specific compliance aspect and provide training and counselling to their employees.
Your responsibilities:
- Primarily acting as trusted compliance advisor based in Luxembourg. Proactively providing sound and pragmatic counseling, at the same time minimizing and mitigating compliance risks.
- Advising on a wide variety of commercial and corporate matters, with a particular focus on compliance issues.
- Delivering training to the business teams on compliance matters.
- Develop and improve compliance and data protection policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Resolve specific compliance or data protection challenges in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Actively participating and supporting international compliance and data protection initiatives. Regularly sharing best practices, new challenges or developments, innovations, and efficiency related projects.
- Have an active and open mind on the new challenges for compliance caused by ESG developments.
- Keeping an open line of communication with other members of the Group Compliance and reporting functionally on matters of relevance.
- Supporting the Group Compliance and Data Protection special projects and other initiatives under the guidance and instruction of the Head of Compliance.
Le profil recherché
Vous possédez un master en droit, idéalement en droit des affaires, conformité ou protection des données.
Vous justifiez d'au moins trois ans d'expérience dans un environnement industriel ou international, hors secteur financier.
- Maîtrise professionnelle de l'anglais, autres langues appréciées
- Capacité à analyser et résoudre des problématiques juridiques complexes
- Excellent sens de la communication et de la diplomatie
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et à gérer les priorités
- Esprit collaboratif, rigueur et intégrité professionnelle

COMPETENCIES :
- 3 years or + of work experience on a wide range of compliance and data protection matters in a non-financial business environment. Compliance roles in a financial institution are of limited relevance in this respect. Industrial would be preferred.
- Experience in an international law firm or (international) company is a prerequisite.
- Fluent in English, other languages are helpful.
EDUCATION :
- Master's degree in Law is a must (e.g. Business law, data protection or compliance would be desirable). Practical experience in e.g., communication, training, internal assurance, or business would be helpful.
SKILLS :
- The willingness and capability to be a hands-on lawyer, with a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic approach.
- The willingness and capability to analyze and solve complex legal issues.
- Strong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate in an international environment, with various stakeholders, loyal and transparent.
- Able to cope with high levels of stress under time pressure and challenging environments.
- Strong change management capabilities and leadership competencies (flexible and open to embracing changes - future forward looking mentality).
- Assertive, but diplomatic and constructive.
- Excellent team player, collaborative and high work ethics.
