Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilledLEO constellation system & satellites Product Assurance Managerto join our team and play a critical role intheimplementation ofthe Product/Quality assuranceprogrammeforthedevelopment of constellation system and associated satellites procurement project.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Product Assurance Manager to lead end-to-end Product and Quality Assurance activities across space systems, rangingfrom equipment and payloads(including Hosted Payloads),to full satellites and constellation-level solutions covering both space and ground segments.
In this role, you will ensure compliance, reliability and quality of products and services across their entire lifecycle - from early design through procurement, manufacturing, verification & validation, integration, launch and operations.
You'll work closely withthe program manager, the system engineering teamand the space segment engineeringgroup, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. Who You Are:
- You have strong leadershipand technical skillsdemonstrated by10 to 15 years insatellitetelecommunication systemdevelopment,implementingspace recognized quality standards
- You have evolved in international space projects and in industrial customer/ contractorrelationships.
- You have high level of hardware and softwareproduct/qualityassurance technical expertise and supporttoall activities associated with spacecraft procurement programs.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for interfacing with customers regardingQuality &Product Assurance activities, ensuring requirements are understood and effectively managed
- Monitor and control all the technical and management aspects of the Quality Assurance disciplines, during spacecraft/ Hosted payloaddesign, manufacturing and test phases: selection and procurement of electrical & electronic parts, selection and qualification ofmaterials andprocesses,reliability,safety,hardware andsoftwarequalityassurance,configuration control
- Oversee and control the work carried out bymanufacturerto ensure the adequate implementation of Eutelsat product/quality assurance requirements throughout the program,
- Manage and coordinate-if required-additional PA/QA support staff (quality engineers, quality resident) and ad-hoc consultants assigned to the project,
- Regularly develop professionalrelationshipwith all internal and external contacts,in particular withthe responsible experts involved in the various quality assurance disciplines within the supplier's organizations and/or agencies,
- Provide Eutelsat Program office (ProgramManager, System Manager and spacecraft engineers) with a high level of spacecraft technical product assurance expertise for all activities associated with the design, development, manufacturing and tests of spacecrafts,
- Monitor the PA activities during the spacecraft/ hosted payloadassembly, integration and test activities atthe contractor facilities,
- Participate in project design and test reviews at multiple levels (system, satellite and unit),
- Interact with the end-to-end system development team to ensure requirements traceability and associated verification plan,
- Carry out the hardware & software acceptance reviews in coordination with theprogram office,
- Manage the non-conformance control systemandcoordinate, with the support of the Program office, the inputs to the identification of non-conformances,theiranalysis, definition of corrective actions, and their implementation and close-out. To assess technical residual risks associatedtothe non-conformances andwaivers, anddecide on their acceptability.
What You'll Need:
- Strong knowledgeof quality and product assurance requirementscommonlyappliedin the telecommunication space industry,
- Good knowledge of requirements management
- Excellent knowledge in Englishand French
- Ability to work in a team
Where You'll Work:
- The main office is in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
- Travel to contractorsand their suppliersor agenciesareperiodically required.
- Home workingis generally acceptedon the basis of2 days per week. This maybemodulatedaccording to project needsandtoenforcein-person meeting whenit makes more sense.
