As part of our mission to deliver innovative and high-performance payment solutions, we are developing Android applications for the Axium range of payment terminals.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who combines strong Android expertise with technical leadership. Beyond development, you will play a key role in upskilling the team (transition from C/C++), driving code quality, and improving our software production practices, including the introduction of AI in the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications for payment terminals
Mentor and coach developers transitioning from embedded C/C++ to Android
Review, challenge, and actively refactor code to improve quality and maintainability
Define and enforce best engineering practices (architecture, testing, documentation)
Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automation, and overall software industrialization
Introduce and scale AI-driven practices in the development and delivery process
Collaborate with product teams and coordinate with certification laboratories
Ensure compliance, performance, and reliability of delivered software
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Required Skills
Strong experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin)
Solid knowledge of Android architectures (MVVM, clean architecture, etc.)
Experience with Android tools (Android Studio, Gradle)
Proven experience in code review, refactoring, and continuous improvment of the codebase
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
Ability to mentor and raise the technical level of a team
Interest or experience in integrating AI into development workflows
Nice to have:
C / C++ background (for team transition support)
Payment domain knowledge (EMV, ISO8583, etc.)
