German Accountant M - F H/F Hirsch Group

MISSIONS

Reporting to the Finance Department and under the supervision of the CFO EMEA, the Accountant will handle various transactions in accordance with established procedures and will be responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the accounts for our German subsidiary.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day accounting activities

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Handling expense reports

• Managing corporate credit cards

• Accounts receivable accounting

• Accounts payable accounting

• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

• Preparing tax returns (VAT, Intrastat declarations, corporate income tax, etc.)

• Cash flow planning

• Improving internal processes

• Participating in various finance-related projects

PROFILE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting

• Fluent in English and German (French is a plus but not required)

• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards

• Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Autonomous and proactive

• Strong interpersonal skills, with analytical and synthesis abilities

• A true business partner mindset

• Committed and proactive in suggesting improvements
