Business Controller M - F H/F CMA CGM

YOUR ROLE

You ensure the reliability of financial information and related analyses for the technical management of CMA CGM's fleet vessels. You play an important role in supporting the activity in areas such as actual cost assessment and budgeting, assisting the fleet team in cost monitoring.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting directly to the Business Control Manager in France, you are responsible for monitoring the costs within your scope, which includes but is not limited to:

- Taking part in the monthly closing process
- Ensuring the accuracy of cost accounting
- Analyzing monthly variances between actuals and budget/forecast
- Analyzing the annual forecast
- Conducting a monthly financial review with the fleet team
- Preparing the monthly review summary for the Business Control Manager
- Providing support in the preparation of the budget and forecasts
- Participating in process and tool improvements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Degree in management control and/or finance
- At least 5 years of experience in management control
- Strong knowledge of accounting, particularly in transaction closing
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proactive, autonomous, and curious
