Your mission, roles and responsibilities
IT at Faurecia is a key player in our ongoing strategic transformation into a Digital Transformation. IT also plays a major role in guaranteeing the service and support that ensures our business succeeds in our fast-moving world.
Each day, IT teams are tackling critical challenges to help build Faurecia's competitive advantage throughout Digital Transformation. Examples include developing mobile apps, harnessing and applying Big Data, engaging in predictive analysis, leveraging the cloud and contributing to Faurecia's cultural shift to become a digitally advanced company.
Our IT Department - Group Information Systems (GIS) is looking for an IT Infrastructure Administrator Apprentice (m/f) to be based in Bavans, France.
As a member of the Central infrastructure build team, you will ensure the support of our infrastructure in Forvia's Datacenters and in the Cloud used by Forvia to ensure a 24/7 activity worldwide.
You will participate on the issues solving and will be in charge of projects preparation and deployment.
Your main missions and roles are to:
- Operating systems/Storage/Backup administration and Cloud infrastructure management
Test and validate technical solutions
Follow the technical platform (reporting, KPI follow up and warn in case of ongoing potential issues)
Automate processes
Create and maintain documentation
Create and maintain procedures
Prepare procedures
- Business Continuity to deliver and improve the service to our customers:
Ensure that all the systems located in the datacenters are under control/managed/well supported to provide services for applications.
Ensure a good quality of service and documentation
Collaborate among GIT teams to deliver a corporate service to our customers.
Ensure a good level of service for our perimeter (Incident tickets and requests managed properly and in a timely manner)
- Project management for a better anticipation:
Structure the operations and projects within PDCA, risk analysis and fail back plan.
Actively participate to major projects and work in collaboration with the competence centers.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in IT Infrastructure or Systems (master / engineer degree or equivalent qualification)
You can demonstrate the following competencies:
- Ability to manage projects, work on own initiative and as part of the team
- Technical skills or special know-how in:
- Linux server (Red Hat Linux and Satellite platform)
- Windows servers 2012/2016/2019 and Hyper-V
- AIX
- Storage (SAN NAS)
- Backup solution
- Cloud solutions (ideally Microsoft Azure)
- Automation and scripting (Ansible, Terraform, Powershell, Azure cli)
- GIT technologies and DevOPS principle
- VMware technologies vSphere, vCenter, SRM
- Active Directory
- Proficiency in English , B1 minimum / ideally B2
- Ability to communicate and work in an international and in a multicultural environment
- Rigor/ Autonomy/Team spirit
