Lead Pr & SEO Content Strategist - CDI - Paris - Papernest H/F Papernest

We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between complex energy market data, technical SEO/netlinking, and high-impact journalistic storytelling.

Objective :

The goal of this mission is to make Papernest the go-to authority for the French media on all things related to the energy market, purchasing power, and consumer rights

Building our domain authority and brand visibility by engineering stories that journalists actually want to publish. This means moving away from traditional brand PR and focusing heavily on:

• Intercepting the News Cycle: Translating complex market shifts (like the end of the ARENH mechanism or new MaPrimeRénov' guidelines) into urgent, highly pitchable alerts about French household purchasing power ;

• Building "Publish-Ready" Assets: Leading the creation of data-driven, interactive assets. Examples are price barometers, localized data maps, and tariff simulators. In such cases, you aren't just sending emails; you are providing journalists with tools they can directly embed or cite to back up their articles ;

• Match PR with Technical SEO: Using top-tier media coverage (e.g., Le Parisien, BFMTV, Le Figaro) not just for brand awareness, but as an engine for high-authority backlinks to boost our SEO rankings

Core Responsibilities :

Content ideation and execution : Monitor the news cycle daily to find angles (data or insights driven). You need a great investigation skill for what makes a story "pop" for a journalist right now.

Asset production and project management: Work alongside our off-page team, data analysts, energy experts, and developers to build standalone content (e.g., PRVG / TRVE price simulators). You are responsible for the quality, accuracy, and form (writing/design) of these projects.

Niche authority building: establish papernest as the reference point in contract management and energy.

Media Relations & SEO :

• Targeting "Journalist Intent": Map out the niche, low-volume keywords that journalists actually type into Google when researching articles (e.g., "how to calculate TRVE 2026"). Create content to rank #1 on these terms, supported by targeted SEA campaigns simply to ensure we are the first source they find.

• Pitching: push your content or assets and data insights at the right time and contacts of top-tier economic and consumer media

• Spokesperson management: you will identify and train a roster of highly specialized internal experts to act as our public face (e.g. Energy provider team). You will also build a standby reserve of real-client testimonials ready to hand over to the press for interviews.

About you :

You need to be the person who can do all three:

1) Ideation of new content topics

2) Find a journalist's angles on how to spin the copywriting content

3) make business/energy experts content simple for a compelling media story.

• Language: Native French is an absolute non-negotiable (you cannot grasp local market nuances or pitch French journalists successfully without it).

• Background: Business school degree combined with strong brand, communication, or data journalism experience.

• Experience Level: 3 to 6 years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced, data-heavy startup environment (e.g., Fintech, Proptech, or comparators).
