Head Of Procurement H/F Infinite Orbits

The Head of Procurement is responsible for leading the procurement function and managing the procurement & logistics team. He/She ensures the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement processes, while supporting strategic direct/project procurement activity, and delivering and owning all indirect procurement end to end process.

Key Responsibilities

Management & Strategy

• Lead and structure the procurement & logistics team.
• Participate actively in negotiations for direct/project procurement.
• Define and deploy the indirect procurement strategy and process.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Direct Procurement

Direct procurement is covering all project needs.

• Participate actively in contract negotiations with suppliers for direct procurement.
• Execute the contract once signed (PO management, logistics for good delivery) and ensure a smooth relationship between project teams, suppliers and finance function.
• Mutualise procurement and supply chain best practices across projects.

Indirect Procurement Leadership

• Oversee the full procurement cycle: needs collection, RfP/RfQ, negotiation, contracting.
• Lead strategic negotiations across indirect categories.
• Ensure supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

Process & Tools Ownership

• Define, implement, and improve procurement processes and tools (ERP, templates, workflows).
• Ensure proper use of procurement tools and documentation.
• Define and monitor KPIs and reporting.

Reporting & Compliance

• Deliver procurement dashboards (spend, savings, supplier performance).
• Ensure audit readiness with proper documentation and traceability.
