With its Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) business line Crédit Agricole CIB is a leading international debt provider and ranks among the top players in the EMEA syndicated loan and bond league tables. Present in Europe (Paris, London, Frankfurt, Milan and Madrid), in the USA (New York City), and in Asia (Hong Kong and Sydney), CLF is in charge of originating, structuring and arranging debt financings for the bank's corporate and private equity clients. Transactions cover the entire rating space and range from refinancings to event-driven situations (e.g. spin-offs, acquisitions). Through its rating and capital structure advisory franchise, CLF is also in charge of advising clients on all strategic financing matters from capital structure optimization to formal rating advisory.
For our German Corporate and Leveraged Finance Department (CLF), we are looking for an:
Senior Analyst / Associate Leveraged Finance (f/m/d)
Your missions
Origination and execution of new Leveraged Buy Out deals for top international Private Equity clients as well as financings for corporate clients within the German CLF team.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the team you will be involved in the following areas:
Primary risk assessment (research), analysis of transactions (via Information Memoranda, due diligence reports, participation in management presentations etc...), preparation of credit applications and their presentation in the respective credit committees
Preparation of financial models, including cash flow analysis & financial projections
Execution of marketing activities within the context of maintaining and extending business relationships, including preparation and production of pitch books in liaison with other business lines (DCM, ECM, M&A and debt syndication teams)
Execution of financing transactions (support in structuring and legal documentation as well as in distribution/syndication and closings)
Responsibility for the credit management of designated portfolio files
You will be fully integrated in the team with our common goal to improve your technical and soft skills and gain in autonomy.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
Graduate degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or related field
Profound knowledge of the financial sector, ideally with 2-3 years of experience working in a Leveraged, Acquisition or Corporate Financing department of a bank or relevant advisory firm
Strong analytical and practical financial modelling skills as well as credit and rating knowledge
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to work under pressure with different priorities and tight project deadlines
Excellent language skills in German and English; further languages would be a plus
Team orientation, strong attitude, motivation and continued eagerness
