We are looking for a Customer Project Manager Team Lead at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.
Attached to the Customer project department, the Customer Project Manager Team Lead is responsible for managing strategic propulsion projects, from systems' specific accommodation fitting the platform, to delivery to customers :
Ensuring customer satisfaction and project success by supervising the planning execution and delivery of the projects.
Being the bridge between the Customer Project Management team and the Head of Project.
Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones (internal and external) are achieved on time, on quality, and on cost.
You will be at the interface between the customer and the Exotrail business and technical teams, as a primary contact, ensuring that contractual obligations and customer expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
📌 Managing Team : Guiding and energising CPM team. Serve as escalation point for complex projects; Actively participate in structuring the project management function; Propose process improvement actions and contribute to the development of the team's skills.
📌 Managing client's project portfolio : Define and enforce processes, template and tools with the PMO; promote continuous improvement.
📌 Client relation & Technical Coordination: primary point of contact for all projects; build trust-based relationship; Explain technical needs and involving TPM and Module Leaders to delve into complex topics as needed.
📌 Planning & Reporting : Oversee schedule, budget and timeline definition; validate schedule; Monitor KPI and prepare reports; validate & consolidate project activity workload plans.
📌 Risk Management : Identify technical, contractual and financial risks; Propose mitigation plans; Prioritise and adjust resources based on deviation;
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
📌 Engineering degree or Master's in engineering, physics, electronics, or equivalent technical field. Additional training in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.)
📌 Proven Experience (min 8-10 years) in complex project management in technical or industrial environement. Experience in the aerospace industry is highly appreciated. Startup experience is a plus.
📌 Strong understanding of product development cycles and project management tools
📌 Skills in contract and budget management
📌 Leadership and strong communication skills uniting multidisciplinary teams/
📌 Strong client orientation, listening and negotiation skills.
📌 Highly motivated and capable to work in a challenging field, and that excels in a collaborative environment.
📌 French and English (min B2 for spoken and written) is a must. Additional languages are a plus.
