YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC🔥

In this role, your main missions will be:

Designing,buildingandmaintainingproduct in an end-to-endfashion

Contributing to product discovery and technical decision making with a strong businessoutcomemindset

Writing clean,scalableand maintainable code across different layers of our architecture

Ensuring performance,reliabilityand security of the product you develop,while being costefficient.

Participating in code reviews and actively contributing to continuous improvement of engineering practices

Collaborating closely with Product Managers,Designersand other Engineers inoutcome-orientedsquads

Leveraging modern development tools, including AIassistedenvironments, to enhance productivity and quality

Taking ownership of your features from idea to production, including monitoring and continuousimprovement

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT➡️

We do not define engineers by a single language, framework, or layer of the stack. Our environment is built around modern product engineering practices, and we look for people who can apply strong fundamentals across different technical contexts.

You can expect to work on topics such as:

• Backend services and APIsandserverless architecture

• Frontend applications anddesign patterns

• Distributed and event-driven architectures

• Multi-cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines

• Databasesand their trade-offs (relational, documents, key-value stores)

• Observability, monitoring, and production diagnosis

Our current stack includes technologies such as:

• Languages & frameworks: Kotlin, .NET, Rust, Python,Angular, TypeScript

• Architecture: Microservices,lambdas,event-driven systems, REST APIs

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, CI/CD pipelines& managed services

• Databases:PostgreSQL, DynamoDB

• Observability & Monitoring:Datadog

You do not need to come from this exact stack. Experience with equivalent ecosystems is highly relevant. What we value is your ability to transfer concepts, navigate complexity, and grow beyond one technical specialty.

You haveasolidexperience in software engineering and have already worked across both backend and frontend layers

You have anexpertisein backend or frontend and are you are not limiting yourself to thatexpertise.

Cloud infrastructure and DevOpsarealsoasignificativepart ofyour typical day.

You understand thattechnologiesaremeans, and you focus primarily on delivering value

You havea strong senseof ownership and accountability for what you build

You are comfortable working in agile, product-firstenvironments

You are curious aboutcurrentpractices such as AIassisteddevelopment and modern engineering workflows

You aim forhigh standardswithout compromising on pragmatism

Youare able tocommunicate in English

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?📝

If your application is shortlisted, Sébastien will contact you within a week foran initialHR screening (30 minutes).

Then, you will complete theAssessFirsttest (personality,motivationand cognitive reasoning).

Next, you will meet your future Engineering Manager, followed by the Head of Engineering.

Within 2 weeks, you willbe requiredto complete a technicaltestand you will be allowed to use Agentic IDE.

Finally, Sébastien will conduct a final HR interview to review yourAssessFirstresults together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensurean optimalexperience for you.
