Workplace recherche un avocat spécialisé en droit bancaire et financier pour l'un de ses clients.
Au sein de l'unité juridique, vous interviendrez sur des opérations complexes de financement, en appui au Head of Unit et en coordination avec les autres directions. Vous travaillerez en lien étroit avec les conseils externes et les institutions financières partenaires, dans un contexte international et exigeant.
Vos principales missions :
- Gérer les négociations des opérations de financement au niveau national et international.
- Rédiger, analyser et finaliser la documentation juridique des prêts et instruments financiers
- Conseiller sur les aspects juridiques tout au long du cycle de financement, incluant les restructurations
- Participer à la conception et à la mise en oeuvre de nouveaux produits financiers
- Contribuer à l'élaboration et à la diffusion de la documentation contractuelle standard de la banque
Vous serez un acteur clé dans la fiabilité juridique des opérations et dans le développement de nouveaux instruments financiers.

Workplace is searching for a Banking and Finance Lawyer for one of its clients.
You will report to the Head of Unit and cooperate with the other lawyers on the team. You will also liaise with other colleagues from the Legal Directorate, including Directors and General Counsel, as well as with counterparts in other Directorates.
Your tasks:
Manage contacts and negotiations concerning the bank's operations handled by the Division (at a international level), working with documents subject to numerous jurisdictions and with counterparts in several countries.
- Provide advisory legal support across all stages of the lending value chain, draft and finalise contracts, complete all related legal formalities and legal monitoring, often with the assistance of external counsel.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new products and innovative financial instruments, including credit enhancements, risk sharing facilities, subordinated loans and quasi-equity financings, and market subscriptions.
- Contribute to the development of standard legal documentation for the bank's operations and to the sharing of knowledge on legal documentation for the Bank's products.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of contractual and operational policy.
- Liaise with external consultants and supervise their work.
- Conduct legal research and keep up to date with legal developments in legislation, regulations and jurisprudence, to maximise knowledge and offer informed legal advice.
Le profil recherché
Ce poste requiert un solide parcours juridique et une excellente maîtrise du droit bancaire et financier.
- Diplôme universitaire en droit et qualification professionnelle (barreau en droit civil ou common law)
- Minimum 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en cabinet ou service juridique d'institution financière
- Compétences confirmées en financement structuré, instruments de trade finance et documentation de financement
- Excellente maîtrise de l'anglais et bonne maîtrise du français ; la connaissance d'autres langues européennes est un atout
- Capacité à rédiger et négocier des contrats complexes dans un environnement multijuridictionnel

- University degree in law (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor).
- Professional legal qualification (past or current admission to a bar association, either in a common law or civil law jurisdiction).
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the field of banking and finance acquired with a reputable law firm or in-house legal function (including within a financial institution, asset manager, or large corporate group).
- Experience in the area of structured finance, trade finance instruments, including under the OECD arrangement would be an advantage.
- Significant experience in the drafting and negotiation of finance and/or equity documentation in English is required. Ability to work in French would be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of English and/or French(***), with a good command of the other. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage
