Job Description

Within the Engineering Product Validation department, you will contribute to the validation of recycled materials by performing analyses, optimizing bonding methods, and setting up testing procedures.

Desired start date: September 2026
Duration: 3 years

Main responsibilities:

- Conduct bibliographic research
- Perform physicochemical analyses of recycled materials
- Optimize bonding validation methods specific to recycled materials
- Perform statistical analysis of data
- Study customer specifications and requirements
- Define technical needs for recycled material validation
- Set up and perform testing procedures
- Implement standard operating procedures

Candidate profile:

- You are preparing a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Materials Chemistry
- You have an intermediate level of English (B1)
- You have knowledge of polymer characterization methods: FTIR, microscopy, DSC, TGA, and rheometry
- You have knowledge of mechanical characterization methods such as tensile testing
- You have good computer skills, including intermediate-level Excel proficiency
- You have strong communication skills and are comfortable working in a team
- You are organized, rigorous, and have strong analytical, critical, and synthesis skills

Location: Sigmatech - Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (40 km from Lyon, carpooling available)
