Imagine what you could do here!The country Systems Engineering team facilitates business and revenue goals by providing high-level pre-sales engagements. You enable Apple partners to sell and deploy solutions for Apple in Business and Education. Pre-Sales activities for existing and new customers can include technical product presentations, the creation/demonstration of prototypes or solutions and technical account management. The role includes channel readiness initiatives such as guiding and mentoring Apple's channel partners (like Enterprise Resellers, Carriers and System Integrators) technical pre-sales executives, for Mac, iPhone and iPad.

  • Pre-sales process: Support the sales teams in providing full, sophisticated technical expertise in the field during all sales activities. During customer calls and events, plan, participate and propose practical solutions to boost sales and facilitate the technical deployment of Apple products and services.
  • Support appropriate channel partners on specific large or strategic deals or initiatives requiring more in-depth technology or solutions understanding. You'll communicate and present our technologies at customer seminars and support the sales team with comprehensive technical expertise at all Apple events or for a chosen group of local resellers and partners.
  • Technical Expert: Provide answers on pre-sales technical questions from qualified customers and Apple Channel Partners. Will architect solutions based on Apple products and technologies to address business, technical, educational and IT needs of the customer. At the highest level, assumes a leadership role in analyzing customer requirements and providing technical knowledge/systems integration. Accountable for the technical validity and interoperability of the solution.
  • Build technical credibility in customer interactions. Identify and overcome technical sales obstacles. Then, creatively resolve new or complex technical issues using Subject Matter Experts, EMEIA Field Engineering teams, product sales and central product marketing teams as needed. Finally, drive the technical aspects of the sales process.
  • Partner Enablement: Active participation in developing and delivering programs/mentoring/workshops to enhance partners' skills on Apple products and solutions.
  • Achieve and maintain the highest levels of self-training to ensure significant technical knowledge and expertise not only on Apple products and technologies but also on third-party products and solutions appropriate to the Apple target markets.
  • Provide regular and adequate reporting of technology adoption and opportunities.
  • Must become and maintain the status of Subject Matter Expert in at least one key field of Apple-related technologies and must demonstrate proficiency by passing relevant Apple certification or qualification at the highest level.
  • Contributes to the creation of internal/external technical and sales materials (demos, white papers, technical briefs...) for direct use by other Apple SE's and Apple technical team members.
  • Regularly provides content based on results gathered in the course of your work to contribute to the collective knowledge and increased product awareness. Offers specific technical expertise/advice to support other Systems Engineers.
  • You have been involved in or have delivered technical transformation projects for business or education. Or you bring a number of years of experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role.
  • You have experience in managing Apple platforms or other desktop and mobile platform environments at scale. You have excellent customer-facing presentation skills. You are proficient in technical documentation and communication.
  • You are only as strong as the people around you, so you know how to build and motivate teams. You build an environment that is collaborative and one that empowers others to do their life's best work. When projects require extra support, you step up to the plate and mobilize the right resources to ensure all technical blockers are removed.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
  • You are fluent in English language (writing and speaking).
  • Ability to communicate professionally to both C-level and IT stakeholders with strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience on a selection of topics like Security, Device Management, AI/Machine Learning, Identity, Networking, Cloud, Storage and Operating Systems.
  • Technical knowledge or experience in mobile apps development and/or deployment in business and education environments would be valuable.
