Virtual Desktops is the Unit responsible for ensuring the management and the evolution of Virtual Workplace technology located on premises and on cloud for all countries.
We are looking for a Global Virtualization Workplace Expert who will work within the Virtual Desktops Unit; as part of the role s/he will be responsible of activities related to the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Users in France liaising with the End-user Services FR unit.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Management of the current Citrix environment for 8,000 users.
Administration of the France AVD resources for 2,500 users.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to all Group Virtual Desktop Users.
Respond to critical off-hours requests in an On-Call rotation related to Group Virtual Desktop Users.
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
Optimize performance and manage centralized image control.
Monitor systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Diagnostics.
Collaborate with other teams to improve service delivery and automation.
Maintain documentation for VDI systems and processes.
Continuous improvement activities related to Virtual Desktops.
Le profil recherché
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
10+ years in virtualization Workplace engineering
Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop, W365, Intune, Citrix, Windows Client/Server/Active Directory technologies
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/M365, AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and network virtualization
Certifications such as AZ-140, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are highly valued
Soft skills:
Ability to work in a team, managing different aspects/concepts simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional international teams.
Strong communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to produce high quality deliverables within tight timescales.

Analytical and critical thinking;
Strong motivation.
Language:
English and French are mandatory, other language is a plus (eg. Italian).
