Les missions du poste
You join a fast-growing international tech company to combine hands-on commercial contracting with day-to-day privacy leadership, reporting to the Head of Legal (based in Lyon), with one goal: enable growth while keeping risk under control.
On theCommercialandContractLawside:
- You draft, review, and negotiate B2B SaaS customer agreements, NDAs, and supplier/partner contracts in French and English (customer work is the priority, around 70% of your time).
- You lead international negotiations, including preparing positions, running negotiation calls, and securing pragmatic compromises.
- You supporttheTeamhandling calls for tenders (RFPs), including contract review and written answers on privacy and security topics.
- Youmaintainand improve a repository of templates, playbooks, and supporting documentation to ensure consistent contracting.
- You manage debt collection topics with Finance andhandlecustomerdisputes, pre-litigation matters, or litigation when needed (around 10% of your time).
- You act as the go-to legal advisor across departments, providing practical, business-oriented guidance.
- You run legal watch toanticipatechangesimpactingthe business.
On theData Protectionside:
- You review and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with customers and suppliers.
- You support customer audits, privacy assessments, and RFP privacy questionnaires.
- You draft, review, andmaintaininternal privacy documentation (policies, assessments, records of processing, subcontractor lists).
- Youmonitorcompliance with data protection laws across Europe, the US, and India.
Expected ramp-up:
- You master internal processes, tools, and documentation and progressively take ownership ofcontractual matterswithin your first 3 months.
- You advise other teams independently within your first 6 months.
- You lead customer negotiations autonomously and act as a trusted business partner within your first year.

- You are a qualifiedLegalCounselinInternationalCommercialLaworDigitalLaw.
- You have at least 3 years of experience inCommercialandContractlaw (B2B context).
- You are fluent in French and English (C1 level in both).
- You have strong, hands-onexpertisein GDPR and otherDataProtectionRegulations.
- You have already led contract negotiations,and you feel comfortable running negotiation calls with senior stakeholders.
Key skills and knowledge
- You understand international contracting dynamics, including common law environments (US/UK) and more codified European approaches.
- You translate complex legal topics into clear options for Sales, CSM, Product, Security, and Finance.
- You are comfortable with modern tools (Word, AI tools, Trello, Teams, CLM tools such asTomorro).
- You are organised, proactive, and solution-oriented, with solid business acumen.
- You analyse quickly, summarise clearly, and keep momentum even when priorities shift.
