Quantity Surveyor - Support Contract Assistant

Your mission


The QS - Support Contract Assistant will provide commercial and contractual support to the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team on large-scale Data Center projects.
The role focuses on contract administration, cost tracking, document control, and commercial reporting, supporting senior Quantity Surveyors and Contract Managers in ensuring contractual compliance, cost transparency, and effective commercial governance across the project.

Your key responsibilities

Contract & Commercial Support
- Support the administration of contracts in accordance with contractual terms and PMC procedures
- Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of contract documentation, including agreements, amendments, and correspondence
- Maintain commercial registers (contracts, variations, EWNs, change orders, claims)

Cost Tracking & Reporting
- Support tracking of commitments, expenditures, and forecast costs
- Assist in the preparation of cost reports, dashboards, and commercial summaries
- Maintain cost trackers for CSA and/or MEP packages as directed

Change Management
- Assist in the logging, tracking, and administration of change events, EWNs, and variations
- Support the preparation of backup documentation and commercial assessments
- Maintain accurate change registers and status updates

Payment Applications & Invoicing
- Support review and tracking of contractor payment applications
- Assist in validating quantities, rates, and supporting documentation
- Support alignment between cost data, progress, and invoicing records

Document Control & Compliance
- Ensure commercial documents are properly filed and controlled in accordance with project procedures
- Support audits and ensure traceability of contractual and commercial records
- Assist in maintaining compliance with client and PMC governance requirements

Data Center-Specific Responsibilities
- Support commercial administration of Data Center-specific scopes, including fast-track packages, phased delivery, and multiple contractors
- Assist in managing interfaces between CSA, MEP, and specialist contractors
- Ensure alignment with Data Center standards, reporting cycles, and approval workflows

Stakeholder Coordination
- Support communication between the PMC commercial team, contractors, and internal project stakeholders
- Respond to ad-hoc commercial and contractual requests from the project team
- Support senior QS and Contract Managers in meetings, reviews, and reporting

Who you are

Education
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent

Experience
- Experience in a commercial, QS, or contract support role within construction projects
- Exposure to Data Center or mission-critical projects is an advantage
- Experience working in a consultant or client-side environment preferred

Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and document management systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
