Job Overview:

Within the Engineering Department, the Budget Manager is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance across technical programs, satellite projects, ground systems, and engineering operations. The role supports Engineering leadership and project teams by tracking engineering budgets (CAPEX and OPEX), enabling accurate cost control, and supporting the project managers with financial oversight and the efficient execution of technical initiatives. The Budget Manager will have a continuous interaction with the Financial Department.

What You'll Do:

- Track contractual deliverables, milestones, and warranties
- Coordinate CAPEX and OPEX budget planning for Engineering cost centers
- Produce the financial reports

- Prepare the Business Review for the Engineering Department

- Perform variance analysis, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Validate invoices, track commitments, and support purchase workflows
- Support Engineering project managers with financial and contractual oversight
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, audits, and governance requirements

What You'll Need:

- Business, Finance, or related field
- Strong skills in Excel and VBA code
- 2+ years of experience in budget management or cost follow-up
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Accurate Engineering financial forecasts and budgets
- Effective support to Engineering project managers and leadership
