Define the system architecture of the product

- Define system Structure of product and its components in line with platform configurator
- Ensure an optimize design to cost approach
- Check patent
- Identify and support management of technical risks of the system architectures in projects
- Propose constant improvement in relation with platform

Secure the product robustness, apply standards

- Enforce standards system solutions
- Support system Design Review
- Manage the link with other Engineering disciplines / calling for hierarchical support if needed
- Capitalization of the know-how (Standardization, Specifications, technical reports, processes and guidelines)

Support system requirement Management

- Provides inputs and requirements to the system for the development
- Interface with customer for system architecture content
- Contribute to refine the functions into the right sub-systems (system - mechanical - software - hardware...)

Distribute and split the functions per Engineering discipline

- Translate system requirements in Engineering disciplines requirements
- In collaboration with the different competences (Engineering disciplines) define the functions into the right sub-systems (system - mechanical - software - hardware ...)
- Ensure the inter-operability of all sub-systems
