Confirmed General Accountant (Permanent Contract) for a leading Monegasque industrial group in strong growth
Location: Monaco
Contract: Permanent (CDI) - 39h

Compensation: €3,000 to €3,500 net per month (Monegasque net salary)

You will join an accounting team of 7 people, in a structured yet lively environment, with real responsibilities and exposure.
This role is designed for a curious, committed and hands-on accountant, who enjoys understanding accounting flows, working as part of a team and taking full ownership of their scope.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

Daily operational tasks

- Managing payments through online banking systems
- Booking and controlling vendor invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Reconciling customer and vendor accounts
- Monitoring and justifying account balances

Weekly / Monthly activities

- Reviewing automatic revenue flows to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Ensuring proper and timely expense booking
- Reconciling re-invoiced expenses and income
- Managing and reconciling petty cash
- Reviewing and following up on employee travel expenses

Quarterly activities

- Liaising with Monegasque accounting firms (Tax, VAT, Fixed Assets, Depreciation)
- Actively participating in quarterly closings (accruals, prepayments, balance revaluations)
- Supporting the team to meet closing deadlines
- Performing analytical reviews of accounts

Year-end activities

- Working closely with external advisors on the preparation of Monegasque financial statements
- Supporting and participating in statutory audits

Additional responsibilities

- Collecting and providing supporting documentation for audits
- Working cross-functionally with finance and operational teams across the Group

Please note that this role is not designed to lead to a finance or accounting manager position in the short or medium term, we are looking for a candidate who is motivated to strenghten their expertise in accounting and develop as a hands-on corporate accountant wihin a well-established and stable organisation.
