The Role

At Saint-Gobain Exterior Solutions (SGES), we are looking for a Financial Accountant to work in our Finance team, helping to deliver accurate reporting, strong financial control and trusted business support.

This Financial Accountant role will be part of a close-knit, collaborative team. The team is highly personable and acts as a go-to function for both finance and non-finance colleagues across the business. You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations while helping and supporting senior leadership team.

This role can be worked on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week in the Flitwick office.

What we're looking for:

A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial accounting experience
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP essential - SAP 7.7 or S/4HANA advantageous)
Strong balance sheet control and month-end reporting experience
Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and supporting non-finance teams
A proactive, resilient individual who enjoys improving processes and working in a lean team environment

What you will be doing:

Supporting monthly reporting to UK and Paris, ensuring compliance with Group deadlines
Owning and reconciling key balance sheet areas including inventory, fixed assets and IFRS adjustments
Preparing journals and working closely with Shared Service Centre teams (AP, AR, Treasury, GL)
Running the Weber ledger and supporting financial controls across the business
Partnering with colleagues across Flitwick and Kilwaughter (Larne) to ensure aligned reporting and continuous improvement
