Job description

Barilla France is looking for a Demand Planning & Customer Service Associate Director within the Region Western Europe.
The role will report solid to the President of Region Western Europe and dotted to the VP Supply Chain Design, Planning & Customer Service, and it will be based in Boulogne Billancourt offices.

Job purpose

The Regional Customer Service and Demand Planning function manages demand forecasts and product availability for all regional planning processes while overseeing Customer Operations, including order cycle management and seamless execution. The role strengthens customer collaboration, identifies evolving customer requirements, and drives continuous improvement. By fostering strong partnerships with customers and working in close coordination with global teams, it contributes to maximizing service levels and optimizing cost trade-offs.

Key Accountabilities

Order-to-delivery

- Oversee and manage the full order cycle, including new listings, promotions, product availability, and coordination with cross-functional teams
- As supply side Single point of contact with Customers build strong partnerships with customers negotiating continuous optimizations on reordering process
- Manage logistics claims and penalties and ensure proactive communication on service issues to minimize them
- Work closely with local functions, sourcing countries, integrated planning and Customer Service COE to ensure smooth execution and product availability
- Run the local repacking process & scheduling coordinating all internal and external functions and partners involved
- Manage day to day relation and service follow up with the local 3PLs in constant alignment with Logistics (owner of 3PL contracts)

Demand Planning

- Build a single company volume forecast (S&OP, launches, budget, rolling, MYE, LE) by integrating inputs from Sales, Supply Chain, Category, and Finance
- Coordinate processes to manage shortages and inventory excess, supporting Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and Category
- Ensure consistent and transparent demand assumptions across all planning processes working in strong collaboration with Central Demand Planning
- Business Support - Provide reliable forecasts to guide decisions, improve accuracy, and enhance responsiveness
Projects
- Ensure the identification and implementation of improvement plans and projects together with Global Functions on both process and service continuous improvement and innovation
- Coordinate and prioritize within the region all customers project request with relevant stakeholders (IT, Sales, ICS,...)

People Management

- Lead and develop an extended team of 16 direct and dotted-line reports, fostering motivation, growth, and high performance. Ensure individual objectives and actions align with company standards and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals

Requirements

- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or Business
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Supply Chain, with a strong focus on Customer Service and people management, preferably gained in an FMCG or Food context.
- Strong analytical, planning and organization skills, and strong problem solving attitude
- Demonstrated autonomy, strong delegation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Good knowledge of English, knowledge of French and Italian is considered a plus
