Legal Counsel Corporate And Business Services H/F Pernod Ricard

Objective

Legal business partner advising the different MMPJ companies on corporate and legal matters.

Main responsibilities

Corporate law

- Manage the corporate governance of the MMPJ legal entities (10 companies + 1 corporate foundation)
- Assist in the preparatory work relating to annual reports and corporate events (board meetings, shareholder meetings etc.) in collaboration with various stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Auditors)
- Draft and review legal documents relating to the day-to-day corporate governance of the companies (board changes, amending the articles of associations, capital transfers, restructurings etc.)

General Commercial law

- Negotiate and draft various legal documents required by the MMPJ business (distribution agreements, confidentiality agreements, filings to authorities etc.)

- Support and advise the local teams on legal matters relating to their commercial and technical projects

- Assist and monitor disputes and legal proceedngs involving MMPJ

Legal Risk Management

- Together with the group Compliance function, implement and monitor Pernod Ricard's Compliance program (including anti-bribery and anti-corruption measures) at MMPJ

- Together with the group Compliance function implement and monitor the data protection (GDPR) programme at MMPJ

- Identify and manage (with the assistance of the various legal support hubs) legal risks impacting the MMPJ business

Required level of competencies and qualifications

- You have a degree in French Corporate law, knowledge of Commercial law is a big plus.
- You have at least 4 years' professional experience.
- You have knowledge on compliance.
- You speak fluently French and English.
