What we expect from you

- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary content, learning, or documentation teams.
- Ability to align content strategy with business goals and product priorities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- A usercentric mindset with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive guidance and learning experiences.
- Strong skills in learning experience design, instructional design, or digital learning development.
- Solid understanding of technical communication and UX writing principles.
- Skilled in project and program management, including crossteam collaboration and roadmap execution.
- Experience with content governance, process development, and scalable workflows.

In addition, these are an advantage:

- Experience with AIassisted content development, prompt engineering, or AIgoverned workflows.
- Experience with digital learning or documentation ecosystems (LMS platforms, structured authoring with DITA, information architecture).
- Experience with customer documentation portals or selfservice platforms.
- Background in shaping content experiences for complex products.
- Familiarity with tools used by the team, such as Atlassian products, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, Oxygen XML, Git, Figma.

Our User Guidance and Learning team is located in Finland (Tampere and Helsinki), but you can work from any MFiles location in Europe - including the UK, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, or Norway.

Our Story

MFiles story dates to the year 2002, when founder and current CEO Antti Nivala started developing a document management software with a four-person team in the city of Tampere (Finland). The first version of MFiles was launched in 2005, and four years later the company was ready to open a subsidiary in the United States (in Dallas, TX).

In 2011 the product pivoted to Intelligent Information Management, and in the following five years the company revenue grew more than 750%. Additional offices were opened in UK, France, Germany, and Australia, and in 2017 MFiles acquired Apprento, a Canadian company whose focus is on Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, MFiles started transitioning to a SaaS model.

MFiles is backed by Bregal Milestone, Partech, Tesi, and Draper Esprit. It is now home to 500+ MFilers, who help serving 5,000+ customers in more than 100 countries.
