About the role

- As the Site Procurement Manager (SPM), you will be fully accountable for the total Site Spend and the delivery of savings targets. You will own on-Site related contracts and drive the achievement of cost savings while ensuring all safety standards are met. You will ensure the implementation of Solvay Procurement Governance, E2E-Processes, and Best Practices at the site level. Managing key internal local site stakeholders, while effectively collaborating with the broader Regional Procurement organization, will be essential. You will report to the respective Head of Regional Procurement, while being part of the site extended leadership team.

- You will be accountable for:

- Working with the site's stakeholders to identify priorities, needs, issues, areas of improvement, smart alternatives and cost effective innovation opportunities

- Leading the Spend Review Challenges (SRC) at the site, implementing of savings initiatives and support site operations while monitoring and implementing the global/regional category strategies

- Sourcing, negotiating, and managing (or leveraging) local and regional contracts within her/his scope in coordination with the defined category strategy, when applicable.

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies, especially the strict application of governance and appropriate buying channels, by all stakeholders, as well as our safety standards.

- Managing supplier performance including safety (based on internal stakeholder monitoring), and address escalated issues proactively

- We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid-working mode (present on site at least 3/4 days per week).

About you

- Master or Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Industrial experience (2/3+ years in an industrial production site)
Procurement experience (6/8+ years)

- Analytical skills, Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is 53000€ to 67000€ per year in France.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
