- Your profile:
The essentials:
- Fluent in both French and English (drafting and reviewing contracts in both languages)
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- 4-5 years of relevant legal experience with demonstrated expertise in privacy law and data protection
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently AND as a team player
- Deep understanding of confidentiality with excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Solid knowledge of GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, CCPA, and other international privacy regulations
- The big pluses:
- CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) or equivalent privacy certification
- Experience at a tech, media, or internet company, or at a law firm with a privacy/data protection practice
