Software Development Engineer - Backend H/F Criteo

What You'll Do:

CRITEO is looking for a Senior Development Software Engineer for its Product Engineering team.

In this role, you will:

- Design and build business-critical APIs, services and backend components that for some have to answer in less than 30ms, and at very large scale (up to 300 Bn requests per day)
- Work closely with the Product and Program Management teams to ensure best architectures and products,
- Interact with multiple multi-cultural R&D teams to ensure the right communication between the client-facing applications and the other Criteo systems,
- Continuously deploy the applications,
- Contribute to promoting a strong engineering culture, passion for quality and things well done. This is only part of the job. Using the information collected through meet-ups and conferences, you will strengthen our systems by building a state-of-the-art application, whether in terms of framework or library, or in terms of best practices (testing, continuous integration/deployment strategies).

Who You Are:

- You are a passionate software engineer, interested in low-latency/large-scale back-end systems but you are also eager to understand and implement product and business requirements.
- You have at least 3 years of experience with developing and extending large and complex systems.
- You have a solid experience in Object Oriented Programming (C#, Python, C++, Java, Scala, Spark, etc.).
- You like reusability and making complex things simple.
- You are curious about innovative technologies, eventually leading personal subjects on the matter.
- You have a "can do" attitude and the ability to work on problems by thinking positively and in a collaborative manner.
- You have worked in Agile environments and are passionate about shipping high quality code!
