Chemical Project Leader M - F H/F Talents Industrie

The local technical team supports operations at the Ardennes site (08), but is also part of the larger international entity.Therefore, fluency in English and French is required for this position.

We are looking for an experienced industrial chemist who will be responsible for a wide range of technical functions. Your role will be similar to that of a project manager, as you will work closely with all field teams and internationally.
The purely chemical-related tasks are fairly basic and do not require product expertise (you will receive training in this area).We are looking for someone with a good overall understanding of this role, capable of being versatile in these tasks:

- New product development and improvement of existing products (position focused on raw material preparation and mixing, rather than complex formulation)- - Optimization of existing products for value and performance.
- Evaluation of alternative raw materials.
- Creation and maintenance of technical project plans, datasets, reports, and documentation.
- Management of projects aimed at improving the processes and facilities of the technical department within an ISO 9001 framework. Drafting and updating of processes and procedures. Identification of investment opportunities and execution of capital expenditure (Capex) requests and purchases.
- Technical contribution to feasibility studies for new products and evaluation of OEM specifications.
- Administration of formulation changes and updating of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Testing to ensure product conformity.Maintaining supplier networks and communication channels.

Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a technical role within a chemical mixing company, ideally.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and strong business acumen.
Willingness to take on a wide range of tasks and, once trained, to work independently with minimal supervision.
Fluent English and french is essential.
Ability to manage projects, collaborate effectively across teams, and be proactive.
Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with product management systems would be an asset.

Type of contract offered: permanent, full-time, on-site contract; salary based on profile and experience
