Test Automation Engineer H/F Ekkiden

The role:
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a highly skilled team working in a complex technical environment . In this role, you will contribute to software testing activities across large-scale system applications by developing and maintaining test automation frameworks. The position requires a high level of autonomy, strong technical expertise, and a proactive mindset to support continuous improvement in testing practices.
Responsabilities:
- Implement enhancements to existing test automation frameworks used to validate multi-component software systems, following regulated development processes.
- Document changes thoroughly, including requirements and architectural design.
- Modify and maintain test framework source code using Python and automation tools.
- Develop test cases and procedures to verify implemented changes.
- Support framework qualification activities in coordination with relevant regulatory stakeholders.
- Analyse, document, and track defects within the issue management system.
- Maintain and synchronize test results management tools.
- Promote testing best practices through hands-on leadership and collaboration.
- Contribute actively to the internal testing community, sharing knowledge and driving improvements.

What we're looking for:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a safety-critical or highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience in software testing and test documentation (specification, design, and execution).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate user needs into clear technical changes.
- Highly autonomous, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Resilient, flexible, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Advanced expertise in Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Squish , JUnit, Robot Framework, or similar.
- Experience with real-time systems, security-focused environments, or industry standards is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in both French and English ; additional languages are a plus.
