What You'll Do:

We're looking for a Senior UX Analyst & Data Intelligence to play a critical role in securing and owning the analytics foundations that support data-driven design and CX strategy across our Product Design organisation. This role is not only about analysis or reporting. It is about taking strong ownership of analytics instrumentation, data quality, and governance, ensuring that all downstream insights, frameworks, and AI-driven initiatives are built on reliable, well-structured, and trustworthy data.

In this role, you will own and evolve our analytics ecosystem - including tools such as Contentsquare and Heap - ensuring reliable, governed, and actionable data flows across our design processes. You'll also leverage AI and automation to connect data sources, improve efficiency, and accelerate insight generation. Working closely with our Senior CX Strategist & the Product Analytics (PAX) team, you'll ensure that data-driven priorities are backed by a technical and analytical backbone that enables accurate, accessible, and meaningful analytics - enabling Designers and Researchers to make better, faster decisions.

Key responsibilities

1) Analytics Ownership & Instrumentation

- Own the analytics ecosystem end-to-end, including Contentsquare, Heap, and related tools used by Product Design.

- Define, maintain, and evolve tracking plans (including events, properties, and naming conventions) that align with product and design needs.

- Act as the primary owner of analytics instrumentation, ensuring consistency and robustness across products and platforms.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot tracking issues, data gaps, and inconsistencies in collaboration with engineering and product analytics teams.

- Drive the strategic evolution of these platforms to meet emerging business and design needs.

2) Data Quality, Governance & Sustainability

- Define, document, and enforce standards for data tracking, metrics, and dashboards to ensure data consistency, reliability, and accessibility.- Ensure data reliability, comparability, and continuity over time, especially in evolving product environments.

- Anticipate and manage analytics debt, including changes in product behaviour, tracking evolution, and historical comparability.

- Act as a quality gatekeeper for analytics used in design decision-making.

3) AI & Data Automation.

- Build and deploy AI agents and automated workflows to connect sources such as Hey Marvin, Contentsquare, and Heap, enabling real-time, cross-platform insights.

- Ensure that AI-driven insights rely on robust, well-instrumented analytics foundations, rather than compensating for weak tracking.

- Continuously explore and evaluate AI-driven analytics tools to enhance insight

discovery and operational efficiency.

4) Collaboration & Strategy

- Partner with the CX Strategist to align analytics and measurement frameworks with customer experience priorities and translate vision into operational, measurable systems.

- Collaborate with UX researchers and Designers to translate data into actionable recommendations and design improvements.

- Partner with the Product Analytics team to align UX analytics with product-level events, pipelines, and data models.

5) Team Enablement & Support

- Provide dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support research and design activities.

- Lead training and enablement initiatives, empowering the team to self-serve insights and interpret analytics confidently.

- Promote a rigorous, data-informed design culture, with a strong focus on correct usage and interpretation of analytics.

Who You Are:

- Hands-on experience owning product analytics tools (e.g. Contentsquare, Heap, or similar) in production environments and dashboard creation.
- Able to define, maintain, and evolve tracking plans for complex digital products.
- Comfortable diagnosing and troubleshooting analytics and tracking issues, independently and in collaboration with technical teams.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metrics definition, and long-term data quality management.
- Curious and forward-thinking about AI, automation, and emerging technologies in data and design analytics.
- A clear communicator who can translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- Collaborative and comfortable working across Product Design, CX functions and Product Analytics team.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving data-informed design culture.

We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we'd love to see your application!
