Methods Process & Tools Engineer H/F

Metavonics

Your role within the company consists of:

- Adapt and simplify the integration of Teams activities in Tools System (Polarion/GITLAB/Jenkins/JIRA) with CI/CD process system
- Create scripts for R&D teams to integrate the tools
- Acts as admin for transversal engineering development tools (project creation, configuration at admin level, ...)
- Develop and maintain transversal processes & methods in close collaboration with System Team
- Develop and maintain engineering procedures, templates and deploy in engineering toolset in collaboration with domain teams

The position requires a degree from an engineering school (electronics, aeronautics/space, computer science, etc.) or a university master's degree (Master's 2 - Bac +5).

More specifically, the position requires:

- Strong development skills in Python and Linux programming and a good understanding of its ecosystem.
- Strong development skills on CI-CD integration system/full devops system - development and automative code analysis in C/C
- Proficiency in version control using Git, particularly with submodules.
- Strong knowledge in Jenkins, Gitlab, JIRA.
- An understanding of system and operational requirements of our clients.
- Knowledge of configuration management processes.

Skills highly appreciated :

- Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, and artifact management tools.
- Code knowledge: Python/Linux/C/C, JavaScript (velocity bonus)
- Understanding of system architectures in the aeronautics industry, particularly in a product policy context.
- Experience in system and interface modeling.
- Knowledge of Polarion, JavaScript (velocity bonus) would be a bonus.
