Your role and responsibilities

- Provide regulatory legal guidance on MiCA and other financial regulations, ensuring compliance with European financial laws.
- Monitor changes in crypto and financial regulations, advising on their impact on the business.
- Organize and manage corporate governance, coordinate board meetings, and provide corporate law support to the company.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts related to market making, OTC trading, custody, and other crypto services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement policies in line with regulatory requirements.
- Manage external legal counsel relationships and coordinate legal matters as needed.
- Assist in risk mitigation strategies related to commercial agreements and regulatory obligations.
- Draft/negotiate contracts in French and English while collaborating with Product and Compliance departments.

Background and Experiences

- At least 7 years of experience in commercial legal roles within crypto, financial services or fintech - in-house experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including MiCA, MiFID, AML/CFT frameworks, and EU financial laws.
- Extensive experience managing corporate governance matters for companies operating in crypto, financial services, or fintech industry.
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating complex contracts in financial or crypto-related services.
- Crypto/digital assets regulatory exposure (AMF) and comfort advising in calibrated-risk environments.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
