We're looking for a talented Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join us, based in Pamplona, Spain, although we are open to discussing remote working options for the right candidate.
You'll be a key player in our QA Department, ensuring our customers have a flawless experience with our cutting-edge retail platform.
Position responsibilities
The function of Junior Quality Assurance Engineer has the following key areas of responsibility.
- Participate in your Scrum Team to build new features and products aligned with our customer needs
- Design and execute functional test cases for new product features
- Develop a mindset oriented to Test Automation, identify and define opportunities for automating regression tests or common processes, and have a good understanding of the automated test suites in your areaApply the established methodologies within the QA team
- Collaborate on refining and innovating our quality procedures.Perform other duties as assigned
- Act as a domain expert and a true champion for quality!
Position requirements
The professional we are seeking:
- A degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- A solid understanding of QA fundamentals, and your enthusiasm for starting with us a career path in Software Quality
- Good English fluency is essential. As our working language, you'll use it every day to collaborate with our international team
- Analytical thinking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to learn fast in a dynamic environment
Would be a great value if you have experience with:
- Retail business software applications
- Test automation (especially Cypress!), JavaScript/React, SQL, or Linux
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- French language skills
