Staff Engineer - Tech Lead All Genders H/F Dailymotion

Required

- Professional English proficiency is mandatory for this role
- Extensive years of backend engineering experience with Python and PHP

- Some years in technical leadership roles, leading engineering teams or complex projects

- Proven experience in large-scale system migration and legacy modernization projects

- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design

- Strong expertise in API design patterns, RESTful services, and backward compatibility

- Experience with authentication/authorization systems (OAuth, JWT, RBAC)

- Experience with database migration strategies and data modeling

- Strong system architecture and technical decision-making capabilities

Preferred

- Experience leading internal tooling or developer productivity initiatives

- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and legacy system modernization

- Experience with change management in technical organizations

- Understanding of API Gateway patterns and service mesh architectures

- Experience with observability and monitoring in distributed systems

- Background in technical program management or technical strategy

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
