Professional Solution Engineer H/F Volvo Group

We're recruiting two permanent Solution Engineer positions (M/F) based at our Vénissieux site (69).

Role Mission and Context

You'll be joining one of our System Analysis Chapters as a Solution Engineer. This team's goal is to build a center of excellence around a specific area of expertise by sharing best practices, standardizing approaches, and encouraging knowledge and skill sharing - all to help people grow and develop their talents.
As a Solution Engineer, your role is to understand and structure business needs in order to deliver the right IT solution, using a mix of technologies, products, and platforms.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to bring functional expertise and propose the most suitable solutions, while making sure the testing strategy is well defined to deliver value throughout the product lifecycle.
You might also explore new technologies to suggest innovative ideas and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead in delivering the identified solution
- Provide detailed functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
- Work closely with Product teams to ensure products and solutions are available and working properly.
- Ensure that the solution developed complies with given architecture guidelines, specifications and business partner quality requirements and ensuring the usage of standards, tools, and platforms
- Identify and propose solutions and features to fit product
- Solve assigned issues together with the business
- Analyze current technologies used and perform tech watch, build prototypes and PoCs.
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates requirements such as legal, customer experience or other.

Required competencies and experience

- You have a Master degree in IT or similar with strong IT knowledges and minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent communication and presentation Skills (FR/EN)
- Ability to communicate across a broad range of people
- Good executer/ Results driven
- Team Collaboration - Very good Team Player
