International Buyer - Airline Cargo H/F CMA CGM

Already equipped with a fleet of 4 long-haul aircraft (1 A330F and 3 B777Fs), it will be further reinforced with eight Airbus A350Fs by 2027, making CMA CGM AIR CARGO the launch operator of this new aircraft. Moreover, thanks to support from a partner, AIR CARGO now operates on the transpacific route with two additional B777Fs that we own.

As a key player in international air cargo transport, we operate across a global network of airports, service providers, and logistics partners. In a highly competitive environment where cost optimization is critical, we are looking for an International Buyer specialized in airport and cargo services, with solid experience in the airline industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the international procurement process for airport services, cargo handling, maintenance, and fuel.
- Define and implement a procurement strategy focused on sustainable cost reduction (cost-cutting) while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Drive negotiations and renegotiations of international contracts with suppliers and service providers.
- Identify performance levers: standardisation, volume consolidation, international tenders, and competitive bidding.
- Conduct market intelligence (fuel prices, airport taxes, cargo trends, industry benchmarks).
- Monitor and challenge supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs.
- Work closely with operational teams (cargo, finance, flight operations) to align procurement needs with business strategy.
- Ensure alignment of CCAC procurement procedures with CMA CGM Group standards.

PROFILE:

- Master's degree (International Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent).
- Significant experience (minimum 10 years) in international procurement within the airline sector (airline, cargo, airport services, or fuel sourcing).
- Strong expertise in international negotiation and management of complex contracts.
- Deep understanding of cost/quality/time challenges in a global, multi-site environment.
- Fluent in English, French is appreciated (another language is a plus).
- Analytical mindset, rigor, strong negotiation skills, result-oriented, with the ability to influence and challenge.
- A strategic role at the core of a fast-growing business.
