About the job :
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of embedded camera software. You will be responsible for designing and implementing OS-level solutions, guiding other developers, and ensuring the highest standards of software quality and performance.
Responsibilities:

- Translate project requirements into technically sound solution designs for the OS and lower layers of embedded camera software.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to internal and external developers.
- Define, estimate, and execute technical work packages in collaboration with the team.
- Design and implement OS drivers and hardware support solutions .
- Work closely with FPGA and electronics designers, DevOps, and systems architects to optimize software performance and quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and release processes.

What we are looking for:

- - Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field.
- Proven track record in application-level Linux development , including strong experience with Qt .
- Experience in hardware-oriented programming for optical systems , ideally imaging systems.
- Solid background in embedded Linux system development .
- Proficiency in C and C++ (C++11/14/17) .
- Experience with Yocto Linux and microcontroller programming .
- Skilled in Git and experienced with code reviews.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Confident and persuasive in interactions with product definition and implementation teams.
- Independent, self-reliant working style.
- Excellent command of English ; German is an advantage.
