Reporting to the Digital Service - Software Engineering Domain, you will be in charge of the architecture of the Software Engineering domain, and you will act as a control tower to ensure overall consistency on its applicative landscape.

Main responsabilities:

Ensure alignment with Central Metiers for business processes and Software Engineering solutions
Collect and manage demands from central Business
Own the Software Engineering solutions roadmap and align it with the global Digital Service roadmap
Prepare recommendations for decisions-making at Change Control Board
Model and maintain functional architecture of the domain
Promote Alstom Core Model by leading evolution and ensuring its consistency
Contribute to all phases of applications lifecycle from definition, architecture, design trough implementation, debugging, testing and early support
Contribute to business processes development and improvement
Build best practices on development activities and continuous improvement
Analyse technology industry and business trends and determine their potential applicability atAlstom
Support roll-out ensuring that Core Model is applied, operations teams with regards to critical incidents

Competencies & Skills:

Solid knowledge on business processes: system engineering, software development, verification and validation
Worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles
General knowledge on IT infrastructure systems: server, database, network and storage
Knowledge in Matlab, ControlBuild and in Railway, RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability), Safety metiers will be a plus
Deep technical knowledge on engineering solutions (especially in railway and safety context) regarding architecture and development/customization
Good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity
Very strong leadership and are business value oriented
Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of Alstom
Educational Requirements:
Graduated from an engineering degree, preferably in information technology

Experience:

More than 3 years of experience in solution architecture on various roles (business / functional architecture / core model definition, solution deployment).
