Join the IT Quality and Lean Transformation Management Department and BE part of a team driving meaningful change across Volvo Group, the transport industry, and society at large.

Volvo Group is seeking a Coach VPS on a permanent contract in Lyon Vénissieux. We would like you to BE available no later than mid-October.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to lead and support the transformation journey by promoting a culture of operational excellence and continuous quality improvement.

What you will do :
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to support Lean Manufacturing principles and Agile transformation across the Digital & IT community. We ensure to drive a culture of continuous improvement by applying Quality, Lean, VPS, Agile, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure measurable outcomes are embedded in IT and business delivery.
- Coach and support teams in adopting quality-driven, agile practices while promoting an agile mindset across the organization.
- Act as a change agent to foster cross-functional collaboration and elevate performance at all levels.

VPS & IT Quality is a global function comprising 9 VPS Coaches who work closely with leads across the Volvo Group. The team partners with IT delivery units and external partners to drive Lean development and transformation in the IT environment. Our focus includes applying Lean principles, VPS, IT Quality, and performance metrics to enhance the value IT delivers to the business.

The organization also manages key Lean assessments, including QRIT, VPS, and IT Quality, ensuring continuous improvement and business impact.

You are responsible for overseeing functional performance, development activities, and deliverables within your domain. With deep expertise in Quality, Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma, you drive a culture of continuous improvement and lead the implementation of Lean and QRIT practices to ensure standardization and consistency. Operating in a global context, you collaborate closely with stakeholders across Volvo Group Digital & IT, TD/BAs, partners, and external suppliers.

Your significant knowledge

You will bring in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean management tools, methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.

You possess a strong background in teaching and coaching, with the ability to effectively structure tasks, analyze complex information, and synthesize insights into actionable outcomes. You have proficiency in conducting and facilitating quality audits is essential, alongside excellent listening, facilitation, meeting management, and communication skills adaptable to diverse and cross-functional audiences.

The role requires a proven ability to initiate and lead change, coordinate activities with external service providers, and collaborate effectively across multicultural teams.

This role requires a level in english B2/C1, along with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all organizational levels : from operational staff to senior executives. You demonstrate high adaptability, a proactive mindset, and strong responsiveness in dynamic environments.
