Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?
The Global Insulation team of the Industrial Direction (TIP) is looking for an intern.
Reporting to the Process Water group leader & the Sustainable technology project leader, your role will BE to strengthen the team's knowledge on water consumption related to our process.
You will work on :
Thermodynamical calculation to access water consumption needed related to mineral wool process
Comparison with actual plants consumption
Define a robust model for water needs at each process part
To do so, you will BE in contact with many stakeholders (insulation sustainability central team, Technical Industrial Direction team, R&D, plants).
You will understand the mineral wool processes in details (energy and water)
You will look into the detailed consumption by process steps in one glass wool plant and one stone wool plant
You will define a simulation model of water consumption of these plants
You will contribute to better understand insulation plants consumptions to help them to decrease their consumption and achieve the sustainability objective of the group
You will help to find innovative leverage for consumption reduction
This position is based at the head quarter Défense with businesses trips in plants in France (4-8 days/month) as well as in our development center in Germany (Ladenburg, 1-2 days/month).
Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?
Level of education : Master level - Engineering school - Generalist or Chemical engineering/ energy engineering / Industrial engineering / Mechanical specialization
Languages : English & French (written and spoken) - Min C1 in French and in English (as some stakeholders don't speak French)
Skills required :
Thermodynamical skills
Data analysis including efficiency with Excel (pivot table, formula,...)
Tools required : Pack Office
Soft skills : A strong autonomy and proactivity are required for the position. Also, synthesis skills as well as rigor in analysis and data sorting will BE needed.
Appetency to work in plants and industrial environment is needed as well as for sustainability topics.
Industrial Energy management and water management experience is a plus.
