We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinkingMarket Intelligence Managerto lead our efforts in gathering, analysing, and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making. This role is critical in helping us understand market dynamics, anticipate trends, and maintain a competitive edge in the evolving rail services landscape.
You will BE part of the Services Product Line Marketing team located in Saint-Ouen or Berlin and BE responsible for the following activities :
Market research and analysis :

Conduct in depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics and their impact for our rail services sector.
Monitor competitors' activities, market positioning and innovations using various channel, and prepare insight reports to inform PL Management.
Compile monthly competition market watch, sharing and presenting IT in monthly Services community calls.
Lead or co-drive regular exchange at global company level to gather insights on specific competitors.
Maintain up to date global order list through regular exchange with Regional Marketing teams and Alstom Services key references list.
Attend selected industry events (e.g. InnoTrans) and prepare key findings to BE considered in our strategy

Strategic Insights :

Deliver actionable insights and recommendation supporting the Strategic Plan implementation through reports, dashboard and presentations.
Contribute to the yearly strategic update documentation with storyline definition, content development including but not limited to market trends, competitive landscape and strategic development.
Collaborate on Services strategic activities, Sustainability reporting by bringing market knowledge and insights
Collaborate with other product lines and central functions on global market intelligence initiatives such as bi-yearly UNIFE World Rail Market Study

Your profile and competencies :

Master degree - Business school or equivalent
5+ years international experience in consulting, market intelligence, strategy or business analysis, preferably in the transportation or infrastructure sector
Fluent English both written and spoken
Strong analytical skills, business acumen, proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Global thinking, business oriented, understanding of market needs and competitive trends.
Well organized with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
