Join us as an Ops Scalability Intern to drive budget optimization and vendor management initiatives that directly impact Qonto's operational efficiency and economic targets. You'll step into a critical role supporting our scalability team's mission to ensure lean, cost-effective operations across all our partnerships and procurement processes.

As an Ops Scalability Intern at Qonto, you will
- Prepare quarterly budget reforecasts and reconcile purchase orders with their invoices to maintain accurate financial tracking - Lead 2026 budget preparation, working alongside the Strategic Finance team to forecast operational costs and vendor expenses - Manage vendor relationships by processing invoices, following up on commercial disputes, and supporting contract renegotiations to ensure delivery commitments are met - Support procurement initiatives including creating vendors in Coupa and analyzing spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities - Drive project initiatives based on budget outcomes to optimize operational procedures, tools, and partnerships within 6 months
This is a full-time internship position based on-site in Paris or Barcelona.

About your future manager
You'll report to Tannia, Head of Scalability, who has been with Qonto for 6 years and brings deep knowledge of our operations and culture. Tannia's leadership style is thorough, detailed, and coaching-focused - she provides clear guidance while giving team members autonomy to develop their missions independently. For your first month, you'll also work closely with Marina, whose expertise in finance and procurement will provide you with hands-on training in the role's core responsibilities.

About You
- Bookkeeping and procurement foundation : You have experience with accounts payable processes, basic understanding of budget preparation or financial forecasting, and familiarity with vendor management principles through internships or coursework.
- Analytical problem-solving skills : You can analyze financial data, identify discrepancies between expected and actual expenses, and propose process improvements for cost optimization.
- Cross-functional collaboration : You've successfully worked with multiple departments or stakeholders to resolve operational issues and can communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance team members.
- Technical adaptability : You can quickly learn new software tools like Coupa, Sage, or Anaplan, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proactive ownership mindset : You take initiative in identifying inefficiencies, follow up on commercial disputes with vendors, and drive results beyond routine task completion.
