We are seeking a Software Engineer who is focused on delivering high-quality software. If you see yourself as a Craftsman, who enjoys designing, brainstorming reviewing and testing, then this is the right place for you !
As a Software Engineer, you will BE developing and maintaining microservices and integrating with third parties in the Yuh Pay team.
This team is responsible for developing the payments and card activities in the Yuh application.
The main stakeholders are Yuh product management, product design and marketing. Other stakeholders are various Swissquote trading, IT, software engineering teams and third parties.
What will you do here ?
- Participate actively in thedevelopment of the productsunder your team supervision by creating efficient and reliable code
- Work closely with financial experts togain first-hand experienceand discuss possible solutions and alternatives to embed their requests
- Keep yourself up-to-date on thecutting-edge technologiesand contribute actively to thetechnical choicesof the team
- Coordinate and organize theproducts evolutionsand their deliveries
- Providesupport on the applicationsto our internal and external users
Use moderntest frameworksto ensure the quality of the applications
Le profil recherché
- Master inComputer Science
- Min 5 yearsof experience in development of production-ready applications
- Experience inJava developmentand willing to learnthe open source frameworksMaven, SpringandHibernate
- Experience or willing to learnFrontenddevelopment and theReactframework
- Knowledge ofRESTfulservices.
- Knowledge ofLinux,Docker,Jenkins, TomcatandDatabases(Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Knowledge ofGit version controlsystem
- Knowledge ofKibanaandGrafana
- Familiar or willing to work withevent-drivenarchitectures
- Familiar or willing to work with test-driven development :Jbehave,TestNG, selenium, etc.
- Solidanalyticalandproblem-solvingabilities.
- Interest inAgileMethodology
- Experience in financial services or payment and card transaction processing is a plus
- Good communication, team player, rigorous and autonomous
- Experience in banking is a plus
- Fluent in English, French is an asset
