Les missions du poste
As part of its growth and expansion, Free2move is seeking a Senior Business Legal Counsel to join its Legal team.
Reporting to the General Counsel (Paris Headquarters), you will act as the primary legal point of contact for our Business & Marketing teams across the EU, while also providing support to our US team as needed.
In this role, you will support Free2move's international operations in all legal matters in business law (especially in BtoB & BtoC contract, IT and competition law).
Your next missions :
Business Legal Support :
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of B2B and B2C agreements (e.g., car rental terms & conditions, terms of use, payment solutions, SaaS, business introducer);
- Mitigating legal and financial contractual risks, ensuring fair, favorable, and consistent terms across agreements;
- Advising on issue arising under laws and regulations applicable to mobility;
- Supporting the development and improvement of contracting processes;
- Providing support to General Counsel with respect to mergers, acquisitions and other corporate activities (e.g., due diligence, TSA, post-merger integration).
Public Affairs Support (France) :
- Assisting the Business & Communication team in managing relationships with public authorities, particularly the City of Paris;
- Supporting legal and strategic aspects of public affairs initiatives (e.g., regulatorydiscussions, permits, tenders).
Legal Practices & Internal Advisory :
- Contributing to the development, update, and implementation of legal templates and internal legal practices aligned with the company's strategy and compliance requirements;
- Delivering legal training and guidance to business and technical teams;
- Managing relationships with external law firms.
Expected skills :
- Master of Laws or equivalent postgraduate degree in law
- At least + 7 years of post-qualification experience, in law firm and/or in-house legal department, with international exposure
- Deep knowledge of French Law (EU consumer law appreciated)
- Experience in the automotive and/or digital sector is a must.
- English and French speaker (German is a big plus)
- Ability to provide concise, clear and pragmatic legal advice
- Team-oriented attitude
- Someone who can manage a busy workload and demonstrate his/her ability to translate complex legal issues into straightforward, pragmatic and user-friendly advice or documents
- Able to consider financial implications, risks, business impacts and working to a budget.
