What you do /Key Responsibilitie
- Quarterly Financial Closing :Support the quarterly financial closing process, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely.
- Data Reconciliation :Perform reconciliations between technical insurance systems and SAP to maintain data integrity.
- Accounting Entries :Book manual accounting entries as required to align financial results and support closing activities.
- Transaction Processing :Handle accounts receivable and payable transactions related to reinsurance and insurance operations.
- Discrepancy Resolution :Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Compliance :Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
- Process Improvement :Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance data quality.
- Automation Enthusiasm :Demonstrate a strong desire and passion for automating processes, reports, and reconciliations to drive efficiency and innovation.

What you bring /Required Skills & Competencies
- Experience :Minimum of 5 years in accounting, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Process Knowledge :Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Technical Expertise :Solid experience with SAP and exposure to technical insurance systems.
- Reconciliation Proficiency :Skilled in reconciliations, manual entries, and quarterly close procedures.
- Analytical Skills :Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills :Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Collaborative Independence :Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with global teams.
