What you will do?
MSP Powertrain Production organization is based on highly skilled people and great teamwork. We are responsible for deliveries of unique and Powertrain common solutions used by GTO Powertrain Production plants and REMAN sites. We are in France, Sweden, United States and Brazil.
As a IT Solution Engineer, you will interface with customers and identify their needs. You will play a very important role into the QRIT process that is used to maintain and improve IT runtime quality in VNX Factory, following VPS (Volvo Performance System) philosophy. You will BE responsible for delivering the solution that supports the business requirements, using various technologies (COTS or other), products and platforms. You will interact with various global teams to BE a Point of Contact for the Global solutions running in VNX Plant. You will balance various aspects of the delivery, from end to end. Additionally, you research advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions.
Your future specific team is located in 3 different sites Vénissieux, Köping and Gothenburg but you will have close and daily interaction with On Site Infrastructure team, Key Users and D&IT Director.
At PTP KOP & VNX team you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will :
- BE Digital Delivery POC for the VNX Plant in QRIT meetings, dealing with different stakeholders to follow-up on Problem Solving activities and Incident handling.
- BE a Problem Coordinator on transversal systems PRBs.
- Perform Quality Management activities using Incidents data to launch improvement proposals for the runtime process (Kaizen)
- Support D&IT Director driving activities related to VPS Focus Area Reviews
- Escalate site related issues to global delivery teams when needed and support trouble-shooting on complex incidents.
- Support the local PSKUs (Process and Solution Key User) on their questions towards IT organization.
- Act as a bridge between global and local teams and participate in Global Application releases to support the plant.
- Work as Second Level Support for local specific solutions (COTS) interacting with IT suppliers when needed.
- Work closely with Product teams to ensure products and solutions are available and working properly.
- Identify and propose solutions and features to fit product.

- University Degree with Technology background
- Strong IT and Digitalization experience
- Knowledge of the LEAN philosophy / VPS, problem solving and continuous improvement
- Industrial Manufacturing experience
- Advanced English and French language skills
