Technical perfumer - L'Oréal R&I

A Day in the Life
As a L'Oréal Technical Perfumer, you will operate at the interface between Fragrance Houses and all internal stakeholders who play a role in fragrance concentrates elaboration. You will :
- Leverage your expertise on ingredients to manage the composition with Fragrance community.
- Partner with Fragrance Design, L4TF, Purchasing and Fragrance Houses to identify key fragrance optimizations in line with L'Oréal internal policies and L'Oréal For the Future objectives. Impulse, implement and monitor action plans.
- Upon need, provide support and share findings on technical challenges to the formulation labs.
- Keep current with ingredients, trends, and regulatory evolutions.
Job requirements :
- Experienced olfactory evaluation skills
- Extensive expertise in raw materials, especially naturals, both olfactory and analytically (Fragrance analysis expertise would BE an advantage)
- A strong interest for fragrance (re)-formulation and problem solving
- Team oriented, self-motivated and result-driven
- Flexible and ability to work under tight and multiple deadlines
- At ease with collaborative management

Background :
- Bachelor Degree in Science or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the perfume industry
- Experienced in analytical equipment and data interpretation such as GC and GCMS
- Experience in creation and/or reformulations
