About the Role :
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing Manager to lead initiatives that optimize distributor pricing and enhance brand profitability and value perception. This role is critical to managing the entire price cascade-from recommended retail prices to net distributor prices-and works closely with Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with the company's commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Control of Tariff Positioning & Margin :
- Analyze sell-in data, the pricing cascade (from list price to 3Net), and 3Net profitability.
- Define pricing strategies by brand and category, including setting minimum 3Net prices.
- Ensure consistency between the pricing policy and the recommended consumer prices.
- Develop dashboards to track pricing performance and profitability.
- Share monthly pricing summaries with sales and finance stakeholders.
Price Optimization & Commercial Conditions :
- Translate insights into actionable pricing recommendations and corrective plans.
- Implement strategies to increase both margin percentage and absolute profitability.
- Support pricing consistency across channels and help enforce minimum pricing strategies.
- Strategic Tools & Competitor Monitoring :
- Develop tools to analyze and compare various price levels between Pierre Fabre and competitors : Nominal price/ Promotional price/ Client margin.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and pricing tools; knowledge of AI-based pricing tools is a plus.
- Experience in the dermocosmetic or pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic business and market environments.
